Before arriving in Switzerland and being presented on our Ikama website, our Senegalese baskets have covered thousands of kilometers, first from the small village of Ndem to Dakar city (about 120km) in Senegal, and then from Dakar to Geneva;<\/span>\u00a0This requires careful logistics and processing of products.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the long and arduous work of Wolof women who weave these baskets in a completely artisanal way, the products then pass into the expert hands of men who prepare them for the long journey.<\/p>\n
